About Marin's Math Mentor
Dale Steinmann has more than twelve years’ experience as a teacher, both at the College of Business at San Francisco State University and in private practice as a math tutor.
Dale holds of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA). He has completed post-graduate studies in engineering, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Prior to entering the education field, Dale navigated ships around the world, flew fighter jets, swam with orca whales in the Arctic, ran marathons in the Southern Hemisphere, directed sales of contact lenses from Japan to India, and released products for a major software manufacturer.
Today his passion is helping students overcome the fear of mathematics so they can better understand how the world works through numbers, and greatly improve their problem-solving skills.
